Thom Whiddett and Luke Sweeney began as Savile Row apprentices before founding Thom Sweeney in 2007. Their dynamic partnership was fashioned from a shared devotion, intuitive understanding and quest to give British tailoring a global relevance.

Fine tailoring delivered with a blend of British panache and Italian fluidity is at the heart of the Thom Sweeney ethos. A slick fusion of construction expertise, individuality and a contemporary feel, make Thom Sweeney modern yet grown up.

Since launching their bespoke workshop in a former art gallery in Mayfair’s Weighhouse Street, Thom and Luke have gathered a loyal following of stylish men in business, media and the arts. Style and confidence to wear it are sewn into every Thom Sweeney suit whether its handmade bespoke, made-to-measure or from the recently added ready-to-wear collections.

In autumn 2014 Thom Sweeney opened a second Mayfair store on Bruton Place, which is the home to the ready-to-wear collection and made-to-measure services. The store and concept is built around an essential tailored wardrobe of twenty pieces. All the collection is available for clients either off the peg or with the option to personalise in a wider choice of fabrics.

Two key silhouettes form the backbone of the seasonal Thom Sweeney collections, a structured British inspired cut for formal daywear, business or evening and an unstructured casual softer shoulder. The essential tailored wardrobe is completed with overcoats, outerwear, shirts, ties, knitwear and pocket squares.
