Before setting up the brand, Diego Vanassibara studied at the legendary English shoemaking institute, London’s Cordwainer’s college for footwear. Prior to that, the designer matured his eye for harmony and proportion as an architecture student. He decided to pursue a career where he could balance both the structural and engineering sides of architecture, with the dynamism and free creativity of fashion. Footwear seemed to be where those two fields of design meet.

Vanassibara is the first ever shoe designer to become a recipient NEWGEN MEN. Among other awards, he was the winner of Footwear Friends Awards.
